Three banks (Investar Bank, Home Bank, and Woodforest National Bank) are currently on board with Restore Louisiana’s programs to help rebuild rental properties that were flooded in 2016. The banks have agreed to extend financing to landlords who are successful applicants to the state’s programs. Two large-scale programs are being offered by the state: one focused on neighborhood landlords who own a few rental properties, and another geared toward big apartment complexes.
