RSI Communities Invests $100 Million In Land Acquisitions In San Antonio And Austin

The plan is to build 1,000 homes with amenities such as White Shaker cabinetry, quartz surfaces, and walk-in showers

February 16, 2017

Residential developer RSI Communities announced this week that it has expanded its Texas portfolio to 4,200 lots by making $100 million in land acquisitions in San Antonio and Austin, Texas.

The plan is to build 1,000 value-centric homes on the new land. Kitchens will have 42-inch Java or White Shaker style upper cabinets and kitchen islands with cabinet fronts and decorative legs. Bathrooms will feature walk-in showers, tubs with tile walls, and framed mirrors. Main living areas will have tile flooring, and granite or quartz will be standard throughout the home.

RSI will have 28 active selling communities in Texas by the end of the year, with 13 in San Antonio and 15 in Austin, the home of RSI’s Texas office. According to the company, nine of these communities will be open and selling in March.
