Build Brand Equity With Window Logos

The small, etched logo that appears in the corner of all tempered-glass windows now can be a builder’s logo.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission’s certification codes require manufacturer information to be etched into each tempered-glass window. Now, Republic Windows & Doors lets builders use their own logo in that spot.

The small, etched logo that appears in the corner of all tempered-glass windows now can be a builder’s logo.

"A builder, for example, can market his homes as being safer and more energy-efficient by offering his own brand of windows that have tempered glass," says Tim Widner, director of glass operations for Republic Windows & Doors. "He can also add V-grooving for curb appeal. Whatever options this builder wants, he can get as a package and have his own logo laser-etched right onto the window glass."

Republic’s private-label program grew out of a new, more automated manufacturing process that allows logo changes to be made in real time.
