Fueled by low inventory, the D.C. region’s housing market set a record for median price in the month of December and matched the record for annual median price. According to ShowingTime RBI, based on information from MRIS, the region’s multiple-listing service, the median price of a home sold in the area reached $410,100. This surpasses the previous high of $408,000 set in 2014.
