Seattle Development Explores Greener Land Use

The Capitol Hill EcoDistrict residential development in Seattle is incorporating a variety of semi-independent sustainability programs under the public development authority, Planetizen reports.

Green features include solar power provided to low-income housing, green spaces with attention paid to pollination and ecosystem development, and reinterpretation of some of Seattle’s outdated land use codes.
