Yale upgraded its Real Living Assure Locks by making them compatible with the HomeKit Network Module. Users can lock and unlock their doors through the Apple Home app, Yale companion app, or with Siri voice commands on Apple devices. The module has the ability to create “scenes” through voice commands, where certain codes and phrases can trigger an action. For instance, saying, “I’m going to bed,” can lock the front door. The module also lets users check battery status and current lock status, manage PIN codes, name a lock, and add a new lock.
