Study finds renters spend less on housing but more on energy

Science website Phys.org reports that, according to a new University of Arizona study, many low-income families who choose to rent multifamily housing because of its affordability may in fact be spending hundreds more in utility costs every year due to a lack of energy-efficient features in their buildings.
