For interior and exterior applications, Meridian Brick’s fired clay brick, Authintic Brick, looks just like genuine, traditional brick but is just 5/8-inch thick and weighs 70 percent less. Because it’s significantly lighter in weight, the Authintic product is easier to transport, handle, and install than typical brick. Additionally, overall structural requirements are diminished due to the elimination of steel lintels necessary for exterior gables and roof enhancements.
