Survey Finds Hottest Outdoor Design Trends

Consumer demand remains strong for attractively designed residential landscapes, the American Society of Landscape Architects reports.

Their 2015 Residential Landscape Architecture Trends Survey found continuing popularity of both sustainable and low-maintenance design, as well as amenities that make the outdoors perfect for entertaining and relaxing.

Among the most popular outdoor project types are native plants, native/adapted drought-tolerant plants, food and vegetable gardens, and fire pits/fireplaces.
