Atlas Copco has added a new lightweight (1,100 pounds), compact single-axle portable unit to its Series 8 compressors. The XAS 110 offers a combination of efficiency and flexibility, delivering 110 CFM of air power for a variety of pneumatic tools. Its 22-horsepower Kubota diesel engine and stepless, fully automatic regulator optimize fuel consumption by adjusting engine speed to accommodate air demand. The XAS 110 features a durable, weather-resistant polyethylene HardHat canopy and a spillage free frame that guarantees containment of all fluids. Encased wire routings enhance protection, while a two-stage air intake filter with a service indicator prevents dirt from flowing into the engine and the compressor.
