A new study from NAHB tracked the impact of USDA single-family loan programs on new construction: the Section 502 Direct Loan Program and the Section 502 Guaranteed Loan Program.
The programs are intended to support homeownership during down periods in the economy, when obtaining a conventional loan is difficult.
