Websites Are Drawing in More People, But Users Spend More Time on Apps

A study conducted by comScore Inc. found that mobile phones account for 62 percent of all time spent online.

But still, websites attract more audience than applications do. “Because of fluid linking of content on social and search, it’s easier to attract audiences on the web,” comScore analyst Adam Lella told The Wall Street Journal. “It’s just harder to keep them there for long periods of time.”
