A million dollars usually gets a buyer more home outside of the metropolises of New York City and Los Angeles.

In Miami, for example, buyers can get a three-bedroom, 3.5-bath Mediterranean home surrounded by lush foliage that AOL Real Estate describe as feeling “like a European villa.”

Buyers in Dallas can get a five-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom brick home with soaring ceilings, an extravagant iron staircase, and landscaped backyard with a pool and spa.
