For a sleek contemporary look, Windsor Windows & Doors redesigned its Low Profile Direct Set window collection utilizing clean lines with more glass and a wider daylight opening. The main wood frame thickness of ¾ inch and the clad frame height of 1 ½ inches are unchanged, but the frames now have nail-fin kerf for standard folding fin and drip cap, along with a rigid nailing fin and drip cap on direct sets. The frame has a 3-degree slope with keyed, screwed, and silicone-injected frame corners. Options include standard or contemporary stops, and a vinyl drip cap will be standard on all low-profile direct sets.
