2017 Aurora Awards: Single-Family Detached Homes

August 4, 2017
Little Harbour Haven, from W Design

Winners were named in seven single-family detached home categories at the 2017 Aurora Awards.

Serenity has an old-English façade on the outside and 10-foot smooth ceilings and large walk-in closets on the inside. Designed for buyers 55 and older, NEXTAdventure has an entertaining kitchen, spa-like master bath, and indoor/outdoor space with Modern Italian architecture. Modern design features including a flat roof line, barn doors, and under stair drawers define the Brewer at Laureate Park at Lake Nona. The Features of the Fogleman Residence include an open floor plan, a light-filled courtyard, and a master bedroom with a balcony.

A large covered loggia, 20-foot wide sliding door, and wall-less rooms maximize space and outdoor living at the Shaw Residence. Little Harbour Haven has a West Indies flair with a white exterior, Bahamian blue shutters, and 18-foot sliding doors. The Avignon – Quail West has both intimate spaces and a blended great room, dining area, and kitchen, with most rooms connecting to outdoor spaces.
