Alabama home builder and 2024 National Housing Quality Award recipient Stone Martin Builders has been working with Auburn Opelika Habitat for Humanity to make homeownership a reality for several families in its local community. In 2023, Stone Martin's collaboration with Habitat culminated in three families receiving new homes. The families, including single mothers and their kids, also played an integral part in the project, contributing more than 500 volunteer hours.

John Manasco, COO of Stone Martin Builders, shared his thoughts: "We are privileged to join forces with Habitat for Humanity, the City of Opelika, and the dedicated community members in this transformative partnership. The collaboration has resulted in three hardworking families achieving homeownership, showcasing the power of shared commitment and collaboration for a brighter future. Our gratitude extends to all involved for the opportunity to contribute to the joy and hope these new homes bring to the Opelika community."
