Analyzing Home Solar Values in 15 U.S. Cities

According to Mother Earth News, installing solar panels can increase a home’s value, and EnergySage and Sandia National Laboratories analyzed solar market values in 15 cities across the U.S.

“In five of the cities that we analyzed, solar has a retained income value that is actually higher than the cost new,” writes Vikram Aggarwal of EnergySage.

These cities are San Francisco, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, New York City, and Newark.
