Best in Show: the Winning Products of the 2018 International Builders' Show

At the National Association of Home Builders’ sixth annual Best of International Builders’ Show (IBS) product competition, the top awards were given across ten categories based on design, functionality, innovation, and usefulness, decided by a panel of 27 judges including media and building professionals.

AeroBarrier by AeroBarrier, a division of Aeroseal LLC, was named Best in Show and Most Innovative Building Material Product. The company said this product can save time and money, and meets specifications for passive home envelope tightness. Products Magazine reports, "when blown into a pressurized space, the AeroBarrier sealant particles are drawn to leaks in the building envelope. The insulation adheres to the edges of leaks and to other sealant particles until any hole is tightly sealed."
