In a survey of private builders in 2015 Charlie Scott found 3 top challenges.
1.
Employee turnover
2.
Cycle time increasing
3.
Trade partner shortage and performance issues
These challenges cannot be solved easily with one solution but rather with a range of integrated solutions. A range of quality tools and techniques can help uncover issues with employees and trades and allow an organization to address them in a proactive manner. The National Housing Quality Award provides a structure to assist in addressing such challenges.
