U.S. GDP grew 2.5 percent in 2010 after falling 2.5 percent in 2009, and some cities grew much faster than others, according to Business Insider.

A new report by the Bureau of Economic Analysis shows how 366 metropolitan areas each fared in 2010.

The top five fastest growing metropolitan areas:

  1. Elizabethtown, Kentucky
  2. San Jose-Sunnyvale-Santa Clara, California
  3. Elkhart-Goshen, Indiana
  4. Columbus, Indiana
  5. Midland, Texas
