Maybe you like them a little bit older because it adds some character. Perhaps you are more interested in some southern charm; those southern accents just do it for you.

No, we aren’t talking about possible spouses, but possible houses. And despite what you might initially believe, dating and house hunting have plenty of similarities. For example, the Internet is starting to play a big factor in both cases.

In addition, it seems the majority of us are helpless romantics when it comes to both. According to Realtor.com, a majority of Americans believe they will find both their dream home (52 percent) and their one true love (73 percent). Is that optimism endearing or cloying? If you answered with the latter, then perhaps this next stat is more suited for you.

80 percent of homebuyers have at least one major regret about their new home and 72 percent of married women have considered leaving their husbands at some point.
