Lumber Liquidators faces five class action lawsuits over laminate flooring

The flooring distributor’s testing kits were deemed “unreliable” by consumer rights firm Hagens Berman

Lumber Liquidators, which allegedly sold Chinese-made laminate flooring that contains unhealthy levels of formaldehyde, has been hit with five class-action lawsuits.

National consumer rights firm Hagens Berman claims the home testing kits the distributor provided to consumers concerned about indoor air quality are “unreliable” and are “designed to under-report the formaldehyde levels in the composite flooring.”
