Economic climate never better for rooftop solar installations

Prices have dropped significantly in the last few decades, while manufacturers focus on enhanced capability and capacity.

Falling prices and improved efficiency of solar panels, along with tax credits, rebates, and other programs makes the installation of rooftop photovoltaics (PVs) more economical than ever. The average cost of solar panels is now about $0.613 per watt, down from $76.67 per watt in 1977. Solar panel installation companies had been primarily concerned with cutting down costs involved in installation. Now they are equally interested in enhancing the capability and capacity of solar panels.
