The commission ruled that a group called NC WARN, which has installed solar panels on the roof of Greensboro’s Faith Community Church, cannot sell electricity directly to customers. NC WARN says the state Utilities Commission made several errors in its ruling, and that it will take the case to the North Carolina Court of Appeals.
