New statistics from CoreLogic show that millennials are delaying marriage and homeownership in favor of getting an education. The homeownership rate for 25- to 34-year-olds in 2012 was 13.7 percent lower than in 1980, while the proportion of the same group with a college degree was up 10 percent.
