Deck Defense roof underlayment

Owens Corning’s Deck Defense roof underlayment provides both a durable first line of defense against the elements and a secondary water-shedding barrier.

Owens Corning, Deck Defense, roof underlayment, 101 best new products

Owens Corning’s new Deck Defense roof underlayment is composed of 100-percent engineered polyolefin designed to provide both a durable first line of defense against the elements (it protects roof systems for up to six months of exposure) and a secondary water-shedding barrier for long-term moisture protection. The strong, durable sheet resists tearing away from fasteners in high winds or when walked on, reducing the chance of leaks.

Editors’ Comments: We like the fact that this product can stand up to abuse during construction. It’s also incredibly easy to work with — its synthetic construction allows it to lay flat and stay flat, even when exposed to moisture.
