The Saltbox Offers Stylish, Cozy Living Space

Oct. 9, 2017

Alabama architect Jeffrey Dungan has designed The Saltbox, the second tiny home floor plan for Alcoa-based Clayton Homes.

The Saltbox is larger than the average tiny home at 452-square feet and includes 270-degree views, real oak flooring, white quartz countertops, compact appliances, and energy-efficient aluminum clad windows and doors. Jim Greer, Clayton's tiny home brand manager, stated The Saltbox is a permanent residence to be lived in year-round, unlike other tiny homes available, The Daily Times reports.

Clayton's Tiny Homes division is looking into more affordable tiny home design options for the future; The Saltbox and Low Country, Clayton's first two tiny home designs, are currently available for public purchase starting in the lower $100,000.00's.
