A wide majority of voters in Florida approved a measure to give tax breaks on solar installations for residential and business owners. The state ranks 14th nationally in installed solar capacity, but is third in rooftop solar potential. Florida will vote on another measure in November, supported by utilities, which could make net metering unattractive in the state.
