Four Cities Set All-Time Highs for Prices in September 2015

Home prices in Denver, Dallas, Boston, and Portland are the highest they’ve ever been, with Denver and Dallas prices 20 percent above their pre-crisis peaks, writes housing economist David Blitzer.

Compared to rents, home prices are much more volatile and are rising a bit faster.
