Googie: The Style that Never Caught on

Realtor.com takes us through a retrospective journey of a style it says “went the way of the dodo”: Googie-style.

The Jetsons is one example of this space age-obsessed aesthetic which emerged not long after World War II. Not many homes exist in this style, and it wasn’t until the 1990s that communities took steps to conserve and restore Googie structures.
