Mapping out the highs and lows of the U.S. economy since 1999

The Huffington Post shares a map created by economic development consulting firm TIP Strategies that depicts the U.S. economy’s roller coaster ride since 1999.

Apart from the obvious, nationwide changes in job growth during the crisis, the map also highlights other major events of the last 15 years, such as the Dot-Com Bubble and its subsequent bust, Hurricane Katrina, and the regeneration of the Midwest auto industry in the last few years.
