Home Prices Slow in October

The latest S&P/Case Shiller composite index showed that single-family home price appreciation slowed less than it was forecasted to do during the month of October.

The index of 20 metro areas rose 4.5 percent from the previous year in October while prices rose by 4.8 percent in September. Meanwhile, housing experts had forecasted a 4.4 percent increase in single-family home prices.
