Dallas Population Is Outgrowing Its Housing Stock
It’s almost impossible to buy a house in Dallas, Bloomberg Business reports, saying the cause is the city’s bustling economy, which has led to a rapid growth of its population.
Census estimates say that the metropolitan area of Dallas, Fort Worth, and Arlington added 131,000 people in the year ending July 1, 2014. According to Bloomberg, the inventory shortage isn’t new – in 2013, it found that home builders were already struggling to meet demand.
