Fannie Mae has just announced the HomePath Ready Buyer program, an online homebuyer education course.
Once they complete the course, qualifying first-time homebuyers can receive up to three percent of the purchase price in closing cost assistance toward the purchase of a HomePath property. This means that for a $150,000 home, the buyer can earn up to $4,500 in savings.
Additionally, Fannie Mae reimburses the $75 tuition fee to the homebuyer at the time of closing.
