The oil slump caused a slowdown in Houston’s home sales and price growth, but overall, the home building market is still humming along, The Houston Business Journal reports.
Data from the U.S. Commerce Department shows that Houston home builders received the most building permits in the first quarter of 2015 since the market crashed in 2008.
