MarketWatch’s personal finance reporter Daniel Goldstein says that an open floor plan that allows parents to have children in eyesight is in big demand.
Other features include rooms dedicated to reduce clutter: a mud room entrance, hidden storage, and separate living room spaces for when the children grow older.
