The Denver Post reports that Metro Denver leads the nation’s major metro areas for home price appreciation, and is even “running shoulder-to-shoulder with several smaller cities.”
For the first quarter, average home price in the metro area posted a 17.2 percent increase year-over-year, from $288,400 to $338,100.
Not only are lower-cost properties bidding up – more expensive homes are selling fast as well.
