L.A. Shifts Focus to Small-Lot Projects for More Homes

June 26, 2015
Los Angeles’ Small Lot Subdivision Ordinance will help bring Mayor Eric Garcetti’s goal of adding 100,000 homes to the city through small-lot developments, the Los Angeles Times reports.
New townhomes and row houses, which are popular among those living in neighborhoods such as Silver Lake, Echo Park, and Eagle Rock, will add to the city’s urban density. There are also infill developments planned for already dense neighborhoods, including Frogtown and Hollywood.
