A Chicago House That Is ‘Right-Sized for Comfortable Living’

TreeHugger features “The Right-Sized Oak Park Home,” designed by Architect Tom Bassett-Dilley in Oak Park, the suburb just west of Chicago that Frank Lloyd Wright and Ernest Hemingway put on the map.

The Oak Park Passive House was open for touring during the Green Built Home Tour this past weekend. It has numerous energy-efficient and low-footprint certifications earned through its design and product selection, all while fitting perfectly into the aesthetics of its suburban surroundings.
