The Most Prevalent Smart Technologies in U.S. Homes

A Nielsen survey revealed that 64 percent of Americans say they don’t know much about smart home technology, Forbes reports.

Another study conducted by The Harris Poll revealed even more specific information: 17 percent of its respondents have a wireless speaker at home, while 11 percent have a smart thermostat.

The speakers are by far leading among all smart technology products on the market that have made it to the homes of Americans. Smart door lucks, refrigerators, laundry machines, and water detectors were found in less than 5 percent of homes.
