The U.S. property market “appears to be in rude health,” according to The Economist. (It’s a good thing). And they have five charts that explain why.

Interactive graphs depicting U.S. house-price indicators such as house-price index, prices in real terms, price to income, price to rent, and percentage change, paint the picture of a slow yet healthy recovery.

However, the numbers hide “vast differences in housing markets across America,” The Economist reports, using prices in San Francisco and Las Vegas as an example.
