Texas Cities Grapple With ‘Stealth Dorms’

Some residents in primarily single-family home neighborhoods in Texas cities are worried about students renting homes in the area and living with more than five other adults.

This type of shared living arrangement has been dubbed a “stealth dorm,” and several advocacy groups are lobbying their city council to put an end to this trend, blaming it for ruining “the fabric of the neighborhood,” CityLab reports.
