Las Vegas Locals Don’t Share Economists’ Optimism for its Housing Market

Economists at Trulia included Las Vegas at spot number nine of their list of housing markets to watch in 2016. But locals can’t see why.

According to the Las Vegas Review Journal, the forecast for Las Vegas's hot housing market isn’t necessarily cloudy, but the sunny outlook reports don’t reflect the lukewarm activity that's actually happening.

"We do have a more balanced market," Bryan Kyle, owner of First Serve Realty, told the Las Vegas Review Journal. "I hate to pull back on the reins a little bit. We'd love to be ranked in the Top 10. We like to be noticed and we want people to think it's a super-vibrant market. Having said that, I see factors that might lead us to take a step back."
