Around 20 Percent of Millennial Men Live with Their Parents

An analysis on data by Deutsche Bank’s Torsten Sløk found that nearly 20 percent of men between the ages of 25 and 34 live at home.

In comparison, about 12 percent of women this age are living at home. “This latest figure shows that basically, even after school young people aren't moving out that quickly,” writes Business Insider reporter Myles Udland.

He adds that the dynamic could be the result of either a bullish force for the housing market going forward, or signs of a lost generation “that has suffered the ill-effects of a deep recession, massive student loan debts, and a general proclivity for incompetence.”
