CityLab reports that the number will be 20,734,000 people, based on research published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.
Florida will be most hard hit, with an estimated 8,654,000 people living below sea level if the WAIS collapses. Second is New York, with 8,654,000 people.
