Interactive Map Shows How U.S. Metro Demographics Will Look in 2030
The Urban Institute has designed a tool to help keep track of demographic shifts.
The tool uses historical trends and census data, allowing users to adjust for rates of birth, death, and migration to forecast a range of scenarios for every region in the U.S. The statistics can help users find other things that come with a population shift, such as demand in housing, property and income tax revenue growth, and changing labor force.
