The Issues With Solar Panels for Residential Use

While solar energy has a good share of upsides, a few barriers prevent it from becoming widespread in the residential sector, Construction Dive found.

The cost of installing and maintaining the panels is a factor, as is finding effective methods of energy storage. The panels themselves aren’t always aesthetically pleasing, either.

To push homeowners towards PV panels, the government has created tax incentives for those who use solar power.
