Morning sessions are conducted in English, afternoon sessions in Spanish. Sales and mortgage counselors conduct the free seminars at KB’s design center, so attendees see firsthand that the latest options in flooring, countertops and appliances can be theirs.
With the help of a free credit report and a mortgage analysis, more than half of the attendees in July and August learned they could qualify for homeownership. Many went directly to the purchase process.
Through its Homebuyers Clubs across all 22 company divisions, KB conducts these bilingual seminars in all of its markets with large Spanish-speaking populations. The seminars stress the financial advantages of owning over renting.
