Millennials still wrestling with homebuying
During the Realtor University Richard J. Rosenthal center for Real Estate Studies forum, realtors discussed the effects of changing homebuyer demographics to the market.
HousingWire reports that adult millennials – those aged 18 to 33 – were a popular topic of discussion, as this year millennials saw 60 percent better job growth than the U.S. overall. This age group also experienced a drop in unemployment to 6 percent. But tightened inventory, difficulty getting credit, and lower-than-average salaries are still keeping most of them out of the market.
