Millions of Former Homeowners Are Coming Back Into the Market

A new report from RealtyTrac estimates that 7.3 million homeowners who lost their homes during the foreclosure crisis are poised to re-enter the market over the next eight years, says CNN Money.

These buyers, dubbed “boomerang buyers,” can benefit from the economic momentum picking up. According to the report, Las Vegas is the epicenter for boomerang buyers. Other markets with the most potential for boomerang buyers are cities in California such as Merced, Stockton, and Modesto.
